Award winning food writer Kelly Alexander is known around the globe for her contributions to publications such as Savuer, The New York Times, The New Republic, Gourmet, and Food and Wine. She’s written books — Hometown Appetites, Peaches and Smokin’ with Myron Mixon — and is a pillar of online food writing. But I’m the reason she’s a famous radio personality ’round these parts. I heard Kelly talking casually about food at a preschool picnic and immediately invite dyer to be on the radio. She didn’t need convincing just a little bit of coaching.
